What To Expect on Your First Visit
• Day 1: 1hour.
During this visit, Dr. Anne will listen to you and learn about your past and present health concerns and your future wellness goals. Should you decide that this is the right place for you, Dr. Anne will do a Documented Spinal Examination that will include your Advanced Computerized Posture Analysis, EMG and Temperature Scans. Then you will receive your first gentle Network Spinal Analysis Session.
• Day 2: 1 hour
First, you
will receive your second gentle Network Spinal Analysis Session. Next, Dr.
Anne will review the results of your examination and first two sessions,
answer any questions that you may have, and discuss her recommendations for
care with you.
• Subsequent Visits: 15 minutes.
Each session, you will receive care that will improve the integrity of your spine and nervous system through gentle and effective Network Care. When your spine accomplishes a new strategy, your gentle Network Spinal Analysis Session will end.
Documented Spinal Examination: Dr. Anne will evaluate the various aspects of the shape, tone, and tension in your spinal system. With her hands, she will locate areas of tension and areas of peace over your spine and check your system for special indicators of adverse mechanical cord tension (spinal tension). Next, Dr. Anne will perform an Advanced Computerized Posture Analysis to determine the amount of stress your body is experiencing due to posture imbalance. Dr. Anne will also use a state-of-the-art computer system, the Insight Millennium, to analyze the function and condition of your nervous system. She will perform two advanced tests with this system: a Surface EMG Scan and a Thermal Scan. The data gathered here will provide Dr. Anne with specific information as to where you hold tension and the nature of the tension in your body.
How we evaluate your spine
Posture
Analysis
Posture is the one of the best indicators of
your
present and future health and wellness. Dr Anne will take two digital pictures of
you (from the front and side) and use the Posture Pro technology to
determine the amount of stress your body is experiencing due to posture
imbalance.
We will use a state of the art computer system, the Insight Millennium, to analyze the function and condition of your nervous system. We will perform two advanced tests listed below:
Surfance
Electromyography (SEMG Scan)
Muscle Balance is extremely important. The vertebrae in your spine depend on the muscles to move properly. Adverse Mechanical Cord Tension creates muscle imbalance and causes an abnormal amount of electrical current in the muscles on either side of the spine. As a result of this disturbance, the abnormal muscle pattern on the scan reveals an increased amount of tension/pull on one side compared to the other (similar to Tug-of-War). The SEMG scan provides us with information to monitor the muscles for balance and proper function.
THERMAL SCAN Measures Temperature Differences
If your body temperature is 98.6 degrees, then the left and right
sides of your spine should also be the same temperature. When the
communication between the Nervous System and the blood vessels is disturbed,
it causes the body’s thermostat to malfunction producing an imbalanced
temperature reading along the spine. These blood vessels are controlled by
the same part of the Central Nervous System that runs your organs and
glands, known as the Autonomic Nervous System. This thermal scan provides us
with information to monitor the autonomic nervous system for proper
function.
